I'm not saying to get on some list, but making contacts can't hurt.

My state, Florida seems to be sorely lacking support and organization.
Two out of every three Members are FBI/ADL informants. That third fool is a chump on his way to Federal Prison.

What I've found best is to just casually discuss shooting with friends, find out which ones are most interested. Take all of them shooting one at a time, then gradually talk about politics, real history, and the current state of affairs. If they're angry, then they've got bigtime potential. If some of the angry ones are intelligent and courageous, then you've got winner! I've got a few winners :D And just keep them around, take them to the range from time to time to keep their marksmanship up. Feed them tidbits about survival, basic stuff. Get them to spend a little money on preps and gear. When the time comes, it won't be hard to bring the smart ones up to speed. You'd be surprised how many people you can reach if you just be patient and take things slow. If you start out all gung-ho, overthrow the government, you'll surely scare them off. If you're patient, and when things get real bad and you've got some winners, things will come together just fine.

Its no paramilitary freedom fighter squad, but its got potential, and its way better than nothing! Best part is, there is no organization. Just a loose network of people who may not even interact with each other.
